A fortified hilltop church whose main nave dates from the 16th century, enlarged a century later with the side chapels of Benirràs and Rubió. The Benirràs chapel holds rediscovered 17th-century frescoes and the tau-shaped floor plan is unique on the island. Built for worship but also as a refuge from corsair raids, hence its fortress-like walls.
