Ibiza in the second week of November is a gentle, local affair, and this weekend is a good one. The island has traded summer queues for tortilla contests, blues in village bars, family treasure hunts on the beach and guided walks through the old town. If you are looking for Ibiza events this weekend and into next week (7–10 November 2026), here is what is worth planning around, with times, prices and a few practical notes from the island's own calendar.
Saturday 7 November: Tortillas, Markets and a Mud Run
Start the day at the 4th Ibiza Red Potato Tortilla Contest on Passeig de Vara de Rey (12:00 to 15:30, free). Home cooks and local restaurants compete with the island's patata roja d'Eivissa, and the whole promenade turns into an open-air food party with live music from La Verbenita. It is free, family-friendly and very Ibicenco. Arrive hungry and early, because the best spots near the statue fill up fast.
If you prefer a slower morning, Saturday is market day. The Mercat de Forada, on the road between Sant Rafel and Santa Agnès, runs from 10:00 to 16:00 with organic produce, honey, wine, handmade goods and second-hand finds. The Las Dalias hippy market in Sant Carles keeps going all winter, with roughly 200 stalls in the garden from 10:00 and free entry. Both are easy to combine with a long country lunch.
In the afternoon, Sant Carles hosts the Sant Carles Xtrem 2026 obstacle race at Las Dalias. Kids' Mini Xtrem heats start at 15:45, and the main Xtrem Absoluta starts at 16:00 (6 euros to enter, free for children). Even as a spectator it is entertaining, and you are two minutes from a coffee and a market stall.
For a cultural fix, the Ajuntament's heritage itineraries continue in Dalt Vila. This morning's "Els edificis emblemàtics" walk leaves from the Cathedral square at 10:30 and is free. These guided routes are one of the best ways to understand the walls, the streets and the centuries of history in Ibiza's UNESCO-listed old town.
Saturday Night: Comedy and Blues
Evenings are where the quiet season shows its character. At Teatre Can Ventosa, comedian Rubén García performs on Saturday at 20:00 as part of the 17th Ibiza Humour Festival (tickets 20 euros).
For live music, Chicago bluesman Breezy Rodio is making a small tour of the island this weekend. On Saturday at 20:00 you can catch him at Can Jordi Blues Station in Sant Josep, joined by Alex Delange and David Barona, and he is also on the bill at Why Not the same evening; both are free. On Sunday at 12:00 his trio plays a vermut de blues at Can Bernat Vinya, a perfect pre-lunch session with a glass of vermouth in hand.
If you want to see out the club season, Es Paradis holds its summer closing party late on Saturday night (from 23:45, tickets from 30 euros), one of the last big nights of the 2026 summer.
Sunday 8 November: Family Day by the Sea
The standout family plan is the Posidonia Family Treasure Hunt at Platja d'en Bossa, organised by IbizaPreservation. Teams of two or three, with at least one adult, follow a map and answer twelve questions about the sea and conservation; this fifth edition is dedicated to Posidonia seagrass, the meadow that keeps Ibiza's water so clear. It is free, bibs and maps are handed out from 10:00, and starts run between 10:00 and 12:30. Wrap up warm and bring a water bottle.
Elsewhere on Sunday, the Sant Joan market fills the streets around the village church in the north from 10:00, and the 5th Ecological Fair on Passeig de Ses Fonts in Sant Antoni runs from 10:30 to 18:00, with sweet-potato fritters to taste. The Las Dalias market opens on Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00.
Culture fans have two good evening options. IDENTIDAD by IDA Company is a contemporary dance piece at Teatro Pereyra at 18:00, and comedian Dalia Gutmann performs stand-up at Teatro Ibiza at 20:00 (from 22 euros). The Humour Festival wraps up at Can Ventosa with two showings of "Perdido en los 80" at 18:00 and 20:00 (20 euros).
Early Next Week: Caves, Exhibitions and Autumn Stories
The week starts softly, which suits the season. The Can Marçà Cave Tour runs daily, 10:30 to 19:30 (9 to 15 euros). It is a roughly 40-minute walk through stalactite chambers and underground pools in the north of the island, and a good wet-weather plan.
On Monday afternoon, the Santa Eulària town council's Contes de Tardor programme brings "La gallineta vermella" to the Jesús Cultural Centre at 17:00, free with no booking and best for children aged three and over.
From Tuesday 10 November, art lovers have plenty to see. The Museu Puget in Dalt Vila opens its Hans Grass retrospective, "I al mar, els somnis", and the MACE contemporary art museum continues Stefan Brüggemann's "Cel d'Or". In Puig d'en Valls, the Centre Cultural shows free illustrations of the Ca n'Andreu des Trull farmhouse until 23 November.
Practical Tips for This Weekend
- Check times locally. Smaller events in November can shift at short notice, so confirm on Ibiza Calendar before you set out.
- Bring layers. Mornings and evenings are cool, and weather can turn quickly, so keep an indoor plan such as the cave tour or a theatre night in your pocket.
- Hire a car for the north. Markets and village sessions in Sant Joan, Sant Carles and Sant Josep are much easier with your own wheels.
- Book the ticketed shows. Humour Festival and theatre tickets are limited, and the final Sunday sessions tend to sell well.
- Eat the local way. Pair every outing with a long lunch of sofrit pagès, a plate of tortilla or a glass of hierbas.
That is the beauty of Ibiza in November: you get the real island, at a human pace. Browse the full listings on Ibiza Calendar and pick two or three plans for your weekend.
