October is nearly over, and Ibiza is doing what it does best at this time of year: saying goodbye in style. The Ibiza season closing parties are scattered across the island from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October 2026, and they look nothing like the summer circuit. Instead of one headline night, you get a patchwork of beach-bar farewells, free live music in village restaurants, a four-day horror film festival and a few last club nights for anyone who still wants a dancefloor.
Here is how to plan the closing weekend, with the events we have confirmed on the calendar for the next few days.
Thursday 29 October: Sunset, Vinyl and Live Music Warm-Ups
Start the evening the classic way. Café del Mar in Sant Antoni keeps running its nightly Sunset Sessions (number 211 on Thursday), with resident DJs playing the ambient, Balearic sound the bar has been known for since 1980. Entry is free, the seafront terrace opens at 17:00, and in late October the sun still drops right on cue.
From 19:00 the live-music circuit takes over. In the centre of the island, Can Jordi Blues Station has two free sets lined up: the duo Nathalie & Dave make their debut there with a covers show, and the rock quintet LaCalle return to the terrace stage. If you would rather browse records than hear covers, the Ibiza Vinyl Club at Las Dalias Cafe in Sant Carles is a free session where DJs play straight from their own collections.
Later, in Sant Antoni, the bar Tribu hosts Los del Varadero for a Thursday night of rumba and pop near the es Pouet shoreline (from 20:00, free), while the Rosemary Family play soul, pop and rock at Cas Costas in Sant Jordi as part of the Sant Josep live-music programme.
Film fans have an option too. The Ibiza Halloween Festival opens its third edition at Teatre Can Ventosa at 18:30 with the first official-selection short film session. Entry is free, and it runs for four days of horror and fantasy cinema, workshops and street performances.
Friday 30 October: Jazz, Cinema and the Last Club Nights
Friday is the busiest night of the closing run. Start the afternoon with the free Cineforum Eivissa screening of Gattaca (18:30, in original version with Spanish subtitles, followed by a talk), or catch day two of the Halloween Festival short films at Can Ventosa, also at 18:30 and also free.
For dinner with a soundtrack, head to Clab in Cala de Bou, where the veteran singer and keyboardist Abby Pianoman plays jazz from 20:30. Nearby, Music 4 Life close out October at the Coral Star Apartments with soul, rock and pop covers at 21:00, again free as part of the Sant Josep programme.
If your Halloween weekend involves horror, the Sant Josep Divendres de Cine cycle has a special All Saints double session at 21:30: Weapons at the Can Jeroni Cultural Centre and The Monkey at the Auditori Caló de s'Oli in Cala de Bou. Both are free, in original version.
And for those who still want to dance, a handful of venues are keeping the doors open into November:
- Akasha at Hotel Bless hosts the C.R.A.F.T. Ibiza closing from 23:00, with Mariano Mellino playing an extended four-hour set of progressive house and melodic techno (from €15).
- Baloo Ibiza runs its Friday reggaeton and latin tech residency, Deseo, from 23:00 (from around €11).
- Club Chinois presents one of its curated "Chinois Presents..." nights at 23:30 (from €25).
- Es Paradis has Puro Reggaeton at 23:30 (from €40), after Bubbles on Thursday night.
Saturday 31 October: Markets, Squid and Season-Closing Parties
Saturday is the day to make a full day of it. Begin at the markets. The Mercadillo de Sant Jordi, the old-racecourse flea market, opens at 8:00 for second-hand finds, antiques and vintage clothes. Mercado de Forada in Sant Antoni sells local fruit, vegetables, cheese and sobrasada from 10:00 to 16:00, and the Las Dalias hippy market in Sant Carles keeps its autumn Saturdays going from 10:00 to 19:00 with more than 200 stalls and live music.
Then follow your appetite to Sant Carles de Peralta for the 10th Fira Gastronomica des Calamar, the squid gastronomy fair, where local restaurants and producers serve squid dishes. Entry is free, and it starts at 11:00. Families may also like Juntos Farm, which opens its free Saturday workshops and farm-day atmosphere from 10:00.
The farewell parties start at lunchtime, which is the charm of Ibiza in late October:
- Can Jordi Blues Station closes its October with a lunchtime show from Little Green Hipo, the island's youngest band, at 13:00.
- Raco Verd in the centre of Sant Josep closes its concert season with Melomaniacs at 13:00.
- Ca n'Esmeralda in Cala de Bou ends its season with the flamenco group Ibossim at 16:00.
All three are free, so you can hop between them if you plan your route.
On Saturday evening, watch the sky. The Consell d'Eivissa and the Agrupación Astronómica de Ibiza have their Noche de estrellas stargazing sessions from Cala d'Hort this season, and the theatrical tours of Dalt Vila are on the calendar for the same day. Check the event pages for times before you go.
Practical Tips for the Closing Weekend
- Check opening hours. Many bars and restaurants shut for the winter right after their closing party, so call or look at the venue's page before you set off.
- Book ahead for the paid nights. Club tickets are cheaper online, and some of these nights are one-offs.
- Dress in layers. Evenings are cooler than they feel at lunchtime, especially on terraces by the sea.
- Plan your transport. Late-night buses thin out in the off season, so arrange a taxi or a designated driver.
- Go free first. More than half of the events above cost nothing, so you can build a whole weekend without spending much.
Where to Find It All
Everything above is listed with times, venues and prices on the Ibiza Calendar. Browse the full list for the coming days, filter by free events or by category, and save the ones you like. The island may be winding down for winter, but this weekend proves it still knows how to send the season off properly.
