Between 31 July and 7 August 2026, the island hosts one of the densest runs of big DJ sets in Ibiza you'll see all summer: a reunited supergroup, the techno king himself, an audiovisual show that feels closer to science fiction than clubbing, and a parade of chart-toppers who normally headline stadiums. The weekend opens loud: Saturday and Sunday
Saturday 1 August belongs to the deep end of house music. Black Coffee takes over the Theatre at Hï Ibiza (Playa d'en Bossa), and if you've never seen the South African maestro work a room, this is the set to fix that. His sound is unhurried and hypnotic, all rolling basslines and gospel-tinged vocals, and the bill around him is stacked — Dubfire, plus Skepta and the legendary Dennis Ferrer holding down the Club Room. Swedish House Mafia headline Ushuaïa's open-air stage from 5pm, and the sheer scale of that production in daylight-into-dusk is one of those Ibiza sights everyone should catch once (from around €95). A few kilometres inland at [UNVRS] in San Rafael, Carl Cox does what Carl Cox has done better than anyone for three decades — a marathon of muscular, joyful techno that turns a giant room into one moving crowd, from about €50. Midweek goes stratospheric
Most islands slow down on a Tuesday. Ibiza does the opposite this week. Anyma Presents ÆDEN takes over [UNVRS] on 4 August, and it's less a DJ set than an immersive audiovisual world — towering screens, sculpted visuals and Anyma's cinematic melodic techno, with Cloonee alongside in the main room (from around €85). It has become one of the most talked-about shows on the island, and for good reason.
Wednesday keeps the bar high. Jamie Jones presents Paradise: Starship Eden brings his cult house-and-tech-house party to [UNVRS] on 5 August with a deep roster — Chris Stussy, Archie Hamilton, Seb Zito and more spread across rooms (from about €120). It's a proper heads-down, dance-till-the-lights-come-up affair rather than a bottle-service spectacle.
Thursday, 6 August, hands the island to FISHER at [UNVRS]. The Australian's shows are pure serotonin — big, silly, grinning house music built for exactly this kind of night — and he's joined by the formidable Loco Dice, from around €50. Between them, Tuesday to Thursday this week is stronger than most clubs manage on a peak Saturday.
The chart-toppers you already know by name
Beyond the club-scene royalty, this is also a week thick with the names that dominate the radio. David Guetta runs his Galactic Circus residency, closing the week at [UNVRS] on Friday 7 August with MORTEN alongside (from about €120), and earlier in the week he brings the long-running F* Me I'm Famous!** brand to Ushuaïa on 3 August with Lost Frequencies in support. Calvin Harris keeps his dual Ushuaïa residency rolling with dates on 31 July and 4 August, trading his biggest pop hits for a heftier house set that surprises first-timers every year.
The list keeps going. Tiësto headlines the main room at [UNVRS] on 3 August (from €50), Martin Garrix takes Ushuaïa on 6 August (from €75), and on 5 August Ushuaïa hosts a Tomorrowland takeover fronted by Dimitri Vegas with Alok and Gabry Ponte (from around €55). Prefer something a touch more underground but still headline-worthy? MEDUZA & James Hype present Our House at Hï on 5 August pairs two of dance music's hottest live-leaning acts from just €40, and Club Chinois delivers a run of tastemaker nights including La Troya with Horse Meat Disco (3 August) and Defected with Eats Everything and Hannah Wants (6 August).
For something with more soul
If back-to-back superstar sets sound exhausting, the same week offers gentler heavyweights. On 6 August, AMÉMÉ's One Tribe brings her globe-spanning, percussion-rich house to the candlelit cave setting of Cova Santa in San José — one of the most atmospheric rooms on the island and a world away from the mega-club scale of Playa d'en Bossa. Beach clubs like Blue Marlin in Cala Jondal and the daytime pool parties at O Beach in San Antonio keep the music going under the sun, so you can build a full day around it rather than surfacing only after midnight.
How to do it without the stress
A few things worth knowing before you dive in. Book tickets in advance. The biggest names — Swedish House Mafia, Carl Cox, Anyma — sell strongly, and buying ahead is almost always cheaper than paying on the door, if the door is even an option. Prices above are starting points; standing-area general admission is the sensible way in unless you specifically want a table.
Plan the journey home. Most of these venues sit in Playa d'en Bossa, San Rafael and San Antonio, and sets run until the small hours. The discobús night network connects the main resort areas and clubs through the summer, and it's far cheaper than a late taxi — check the current timetable for your route before you go out. If you're driving, [UNVRS] and the Playa d'en Bossa clubs have parking, but it fills fast on peak nights.
Mix your nights. You do not need to spend €120 every evening to have the week of your life. Pair one blowout — say, Swedish House Mafia or Anyma — with a lower-key, lower-cost night like Claptone at Chinois or MEDUZA at Hï, and give yourself a beach-and-siesta day in between. Ibiza rewards the people who last the week, not the ones who peak on day two.
Dress the part, and hydrate. Open-air shows at Ushuaïa start in fierce afternoon sun and run into cool night air, so bring a layer. Water is expensive inside; drink plenty and eat properly beforehand.
