Complete guide to phone numbers and essential contacts for enjoying Ibiza worry-free. From car breakdowns to weather information, postal services and veterinary care.

Car Breakdown, Towing and Roadside Assistance

If your rental car leaves you stranded on an Ibiza road, the first thing to do is call the rental company: they all include roadside assistance in the contract.

If you're traveling with your own vehicle, here are the key contacts:

  • Grúas Ibiza: 971 31 31 12 (24 hours)
  • Grúas Juan: 971 39 19 19 (24 hours)
  • RACE (roadside assistance): 900 100 992

If you have European roadside assistance insurance, you can also call your company in your home country and they will manage local assistance.

If your vehicle poses a danger on the road, call 112 first so the Guardia Civil can regulate traffic while you wait for the tow truck.

Post Office, Parcels and Shipping

Post Offices

  • Main office: avenida d'Isidor Macabich, 2, Ibiza city
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, Saturdays 9:30 am to 1:00 pm
  • Other offices: Santa Eulària, Sant Antoni, Sant Josep and Sant Joan

Urgent Courier Services

The main parcel delivery companies with presence on the island:

  • MRW, SEUR, GLS, DHL — pickup points and offices
  • FedEx, UPS — operate in Ibiza with more limited hours
  • Correos Express — the most affordable option for shipments within Spain

A fun fact: sending postcards from Ibiza remains a charming tradition. Stamps are purchased at estancos (tobacco shops—look for the brown sign with a yellow T) or at the Post Office. A postcard to Europe costs less than two euros and takes between five and ten days.

Weather Information and Sea Conditions

Weather in Ibiza can change rapidly, especially in spring and autumn. These resources will keep you informed:

  • AEMET (aemet.es): specific forecast for Ibiza, including alerts for wind, rain or heat
  • AEMET telephone: 807 170 365 (automated information)
  • Puertos del Estado (puertos.es): wave height, wind and sailing conditions
  • Windguru: detailed wind forecasts (favorite of sailors and surfers)

If you plan a boat trip, paddleboarding or any water activity, always check sea conditions before heading out. Conditions can change within hours.

Veterinary Services

If you're traveling to Ibiza with your pet, it's wise to locate a veterinarian beforehand:

  • Clínica Veterinaria Eivissa — Sant Antoni road km 1 (consultations and emergencies)
  • Clínica Veterinaria Can Misses — Ibiza city
  • Veterinarians in Santa Eulària and Sant Antoni

For emergencies outside business hours, call your reference clinic: many have an on-call telephone service.

If you find an abandoned or injured animal, contact:

  • CAAI (Centro de Acogida de Animales de Ibiza) (Ibiza Animal Reception Center)
  • SOS Animales Ibiza (SOS Animals Ibiza)
  • Policía Local (Local Police) — in cases of dangerous animals or mistreatment

Town Hall and Other Organization Phone Numbers

Island Town Halls

  • Ayuntamiento de Eivissa: 971 39 72 00
  • Ayuntamiento de Santa Eulària: 971 33 28 00
  • Ayuntamiento de Sant Antoni: 971 34 01 11
  • Ayuntamiento de Sant Josep: 971 80 00 14
  • Ayuntamiento de Sant Joan: 971 33 30 03

Island and State Organizations

  • Consell Insular d'Eivissa: 971 19 59 00 — avenida d'Espanya, Ibiza city (manages roads, transport, tourism, environment and heritage)
  • Baleares Port Authority: 971 31 16 09 (ferry information)
  • AENA — Ibiza Airport: 902 404 704 or aena.es
  • Immigration Office: at the National Police station (schedule an appointment at sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es)

The airport and police stations have a lost and found service. If you've lost something, go as soon as possible to increase your chances of recovery.

With this guide of contacts in your pocket, your stay in Ibiza will be much more peaceful. We hope you won't need to use most of these numbers, but having them on hand is always a good idea.
