Discover the secrets of Ibiza's beloved Lenten pastries at this intimate hands-on cooking workshop led by celebrated local chef Marga Orell at the Escola de Hoteleria d'Eivissa in Sa Coma, Ibiza, on Friday 20 March 2026 from 16:00 to 19:00. The workshop focuses on two iconic staples of Ibizan cuisine: cocarrois, the crescent-shaped vegetable turnovers filled with chard, raisins and pine nuts, and empanades, the round meat or fish pastries that have graced Ibizan tables for generations — especially during Semana Santa and the spring season. Under Marga Orell's expert guidance, participants learn to prepare traditional vegetable cocarrois, forgotten fish variants, and classic empanadas in a relaxed, hands-on environment that celebrates the island's culinary heritage. Part of the Sabors d'Eivissa programme for spring 2026, this is one of the most authentic cooking experiences available in Ibiza this March.
