About this event
The San Antonio to Es Vedrà boat trip runs four hours across Ibiza's western coast, departing from San Antonio in the morning. You'll pass through a sequence of coves—Port des Torrent, Cala Bassa, Cala Conta, Cala Tarida, Cala Molí, Cala Vadella and Cala Carbó—each offering distinct perspectives on the island's geology and light. The boat circles Es Vedrà itself, Ibiza's most recognizable natural formation, where the crew shares its layered history and local mythology before moving to a designated swim stop.
Depending on conditions, the stop lands at either Cala Conta or Cala Bassa. The water here is clear enough to use the boat's underwater viewer. Refreshments are included throughout: water, soft drinks, sangria, white wine and beer, plus finger food. A local guide travels with you and can speak to what you're seeing as the boat moves along the coast.
This is a practical way to understand the geography of western Ibiza and its protected natural spaces without the intensity of a night out. The route shows why this stretch of coast matters to the island's character.
