La Cucaracha

La Cucaracha, the Madrid and Puerto Rico collective, plants its flag at Teatro Pereyra for a three-month Saturday residency across July, August and September. This is where Latin culture lives in the moment—live musicians trade energy with vinyl and digital DJs, dancers own the floor, and the sound moves between salsa, merengue, bachata, boogaloo and reggaeton without apology. Cocktails flow, performances punctuate the night, and the focus stays where it belongs: on music that moves people and a dancefloor that responds. The residency brings a format built on collective experience rather than passive consumption. Teatro Pereyra becomes the stage for a culture that values rhythm, presence and the collision of classic and contemporary sounds.
