Ibiza puerto - Formentera | Balearia

The 30-minute Balearia fast ferry from Ibiza puerto connects you directly to Formentera's quieter shores. Departures run roughly every half hour during high season, with the first sailing leaving Ibiza at 07:00 and Formentera at 08:00. The modern vessels are air-conditioned and built for comfort on a crossing that cuts across the channel between the two islands. Balearia's flexibility works in your favour. Book your outbound and return journeys separately, taking Formentera on your own timeline. Luggage up to 20 kg travels free per person, as do bicycles and pets. Arrive 30 minutes before departure at Ibiza Maritime Station in Ibiza Town, next to Burger King. High season sees increased frequency, so check your ticket for exact times as schedules adjust through the year.
