The 30-minute crossing from Ibiza port to Formentera on Balearia's fast ferry is the practical route to the quieter island. Departures run almost every 30 minutes in high season, starting from 07:00 at Ibiza Maritime Station in town. The vessels are modern with air conditioning and enough space to settle in for the short journey across the channel.
