About this event
The second-most-important religious festival in Sant Antoni de Portmany honours the town's patron saint Bartholomew on 24 August. The day is rounded off by the famous fireworks castle over the bay, alongside gastronomic festivals such as S'Ou (with eggs as the star ingredient on S'Arenal beach), the Carthaginians vs Romans historical recreation, concerts, traditional markets, sports competitions and a long programme of community events.
